Record Screen On Mac Yosemite

I have the same issue.

The interesting fact is that the video recording works ok with internal built-in camera on Macbook Air (the camera is awful but it records ok) - but I get 'recording stopped' message after a few seconds trying to use external USB camera Logitech C920 HD Pro. Tried with various cables (the camera has USB A connector while Macbook Air has only USB-C plug).

Load the built-in Quicktime Player on your Mac, (running OS X Yosemite), and click “File” - “New Movie Recording” as seen above. Then, simply select the iPhone as your video source, as shown below. Now, click the record button, and begin using the iOS device. The easiest way to make a screen recording on a Mac is to use QuickTime Player, a tool that comes preinstalled on the operating system and that you can use without spending a single cent. The application isn't good enough for high-end recording, but if you're a regular user, then it will offer you everything that you need. I also disabled all energy saving features in power connected mode.

The same happens on different user account. There is plenty of room on SSD.

Could that mean something is wrong with USB-C performance?
